It's happened to all of us. We're making great gains, weights are going up, muscles are getting bigger and stronger-and then we get an injury. Usually it's a soft tissue injury like tendons, ligaments, or cartilage. The muscles could handle the workload but our connective tissue wasn't able to keep up. Everyone knows the mantra that you have to wait at least 48 hours before working the same muscle so you give it time to repair, right?
